During the first semester of my senior year at NCSU, I took my 400 level Graphic Design studio in downtown Raleigh (a satellite location for NCSU) The Downtown Design Studio(DDS) houses classes as well as a group of landscape architecture faculty that specialize in urban design in the community. I wanted to create a poster to promote the activity of the DDDS; to inform people on the main campus of NCSU about what kinds of things were going on at DDS. I created a poster that showcased the manifesto of DDS. The poster is letterpressed onto found maps of Raleigh. There are business card sized takeaways hidden on the posters that give the viewer directions from NCSU's main campus to DDS.
