Jerico Orchestra
The Jerico Orchestra is a collective exploring the relationship between improvised music and visual art. Its aim is to encourage its participants to interact in radically different ways by expanding both the concept and form of a musical score.

Our performances consist of three elements: the collective mind of the orchestra in action, the projected score, and the response of the audience. Together these elements create a unique work which must be experienced in its totality, live and living, acting on both spatial and conceptual levels, (moving from feeling into meaning) releasing aesthetic responses into involvement with collective consciousness.

We believe there is a close relationship between aesthetics and ethics; and that collaborative creative effort is nothing less than an aesthetic model for an achievable political programme.
