Wow, where have I been? Well, I'll tell you. WORKING! Been really busy working on this 360 campaign for McGladrey here at Mullen. We were tasked with doing three tv spots using Davis Love III. We took it a step further and created a contest around it that helps davis find a caddie for one tournament.

Wow it's been forever since I've updated. Sorry to keep you hanging. I'm working on a few great projects for TV and web, just wrapping those up here shortly. stay tuned for mediocrity at its finest. I'm also going to revamp this site. It's old and outdated. The design isn't fresh anymore and its how do you say....eh. Check back frequently as the next time you come back this site could be pretty awesome or just better. either or.

Busy, busy and more busy. But had a good night at the ATL addys taking a Gold for the HP trade show booth and a silver and bronze for the Nine At Night Logo. Off to a good start 2011.

Its been awhile since my last update but I've settled nicely at Mullen in Winston-Salem, NC as a Senior Art Director. Pretty excited to join this group and they are doing some great stuff these days. stay tuned for more projects!

August has been a huge month which is why i'm behind on my blogging and new work.
To start off I accepted a position at Mullen as Senior Art Director working in the Winston-Salem branch.
I have also recently had my second daughter Molly Cora Oehmen. We are all doing well and loving life.
Next up is the work. This project was done a fews years back but worth posting. AT&T phone screen illustrations done by various artists. Enjoy!

Just finished a new TV spot for Georgia Lottery. We worked with CHRLX out of NY and I have to say those guys got it done. They were a pleasure to work with and cannot wait to work with them again. I will post the spot in the next day or so, so check back!

RINGLING 100! I've recently submitted work to what Ringling College of Art and Design calls the Ringling 100. They sent out notices to all alumni, teachers and students to submit work for their book of illustrations. The top 100 artits are chosen. Well, out of a ton of entries my Tricycle painting was selected to be part of this great book. It's an honor to be part of this. I will have pictures up when the book is printed. Stay tuned. You can see my tricycle painting in the paint section.

Ok. Well I'm updating yet another project. AT&T was looking for movie posters that weren't so AT&T branded. They wanted something that just said cool to them. These are concepts that hadn't sold.

BBDO was tasked with creating a holiday card for the agency to send out to clients, friends and vendors, wishing them ‘Happy Holidays’ for the 2009 season.
I designed a 23”x35” sheet of wrapping paper that, when folded, became a holiday card with a purpose, as well as its own gift. The design for the paper is a pattern of holiday icons ranging from reindeer to presents, with a color palette that strays from the traditional red and green with it’s mix of red, blue and browns. When folded down to 8.5”x11”, the paper is then wrapped with a belly band printed with a foil on the icons. The envelope is vellum, with the address and reindeer icon printed on the flap

Atlanta Addy's were last night and well BBDO did well. I personally took home some silver for the work done on Piedmont Park for the Paul McCartney posters. Check out the posters in my design section.

New Georgia Lottery TV Maximum Green launched today and with 60 extras, 9 principles and tons of cash flying I think the sequel to last years Extreme Green turned out pretty well.

Keokuk Yacht Club has selected me to do design them a burgee (flag) for the yacht club. Couldn't believe how strict the flags had to be. Had fun doing it and look forward to posting the project when its complete.
Busy on a commission portrait as well. Mix that with my day to day and I'd say I'm right where I wanna be.

Well, I'm officially older now and since the holidays and my birthday I've started to really settle in to the freelance mode of things. working on multiple commissions, logos and ads. Stay tuned for updates and images.
Also, my new tv spot for GA Lottery should be airing soon so stay tuned for that as well. It's a part two of a spot that ran last year only we were tasked with making it "bigger". check back soon for updates on that as well.
