about

I am an organizer and designer focused on improving cities.

I am currently serving full-time as an Innovation Fellow in the San Francisco Mayor's Office of Civic Innovation.
Previously, I served as Research Director at Gray Area Foundation for the Arts, and in the Planning Group at Arup.

I develop and manage programs that help cities use new tools and approaches to work better.

I get excited when people come together to make things.

As an organizer, I believe in the power of people to create extraordinary things when they come together under the right circumstances. To this end, I've led initiatives that have collectively fostered over 30,000 hours of civic engagement through technology, art, and design.

These efforts have been featured in The New York Times, The Associated Press, WIRED, Fast Company, and others.

I think prototyping will save our cities.

The quickest way to learn why and how is to watch my TEDx talk, The Revolution Will Be Prototyped, or check out the slides.
