The site launched to over 100,000 plays in just two days. The number doubled within the week. The hashtag #kanyevscreative received over one million impressions on Twitter within week one. Thousands of participants uploaded their own quotes to the game.
The site was picked up, blogged about and retweeted by a long list of influencers including: Complex Magazine, Buzzfeed, The One Show, AgencySpy, DesignTaxi, PSFK, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Rolling Stone. It was nominated for a Shorty Award and a Webby.
No one got sued.
