On August 28, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered what is now considered to be one of the most famous speeches in American history. "I Have A Dream" was delivered on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to a crowd of over 200,000 supporters. All the while King was staring out across the reflecting pool at the Washington Monument, which looks an awful lot like a Ku Klux Klan member. On April 4, 1968, King was assassinated as he stood outside his hotel home in Memphis, Tennessee.
