(+) Much to the annoyance of my better half, I spent my weekend creating beats, chimes and chirps via Bjork's new "Solstice" app. Each concentric circle/ornament represents the rhythm/orbit, each branch represents a note, the longer the branch, the lower the octave, the shorter branch, the higher the octave. I wish I knew how to read music. The neatest thing is that you can create a seasonal card and annoy the shit outta' yer' family and friends via electronic message: HAPPY WINTER SOLSTICE, KIDS! Oh, and before i forget: Dear bearded sage of my childhood, do I really need these $300 dollar laced kicks (€296-isn't the euro worth shite' now?), probably not, a kid at heart can only hope...
