Lately I've been OBSESSED with home decor. The feeling just hit me hard out of left field and I don't even know what triggered this switch that has caused me to become so psychotic about it. I don't have my own home yet but I'm already planning and thinking of what photographs would look fantabulous on those white creamy walls.
I have to share with the world a few websites that I saw on Steven and Chris (YES...I'm admitting I watch mom shows!) that are just great inspirations on what to do with new homes and even if you are an amateur like me, these will be great for you! These are very helpful because it helps you create your own vision without having to go out to buy the item and lugging them into your home realizing.....it sucks in your space.

Websites that are definitely worth checking out:

floorplanner.com- it allows you to have measurements of your home on the screen, splitting walls, adding doors and bathrooms etc. With these measurements, you will never have to bring home a sofa realizing it won't fit through your door.

olioboard.com-a free create your own storyboard for your room to see the mood and theme of the whole concept (just like when an artist creates a mood board), the website allows you to see other peoples story board for inspiration as well.

lonnymag.com- FREE online magazine
ruemag.com- FREE online magazine

(these are all freeeee, what is better than free?!?!?)

I just bought this frame with a cork board inside where you can pin your own little memories on it...I'm still debating whether its a yay or nay...I'm leaning towards a yay just because its got such a cute pattern on it. Je t'aime Paris!! <3
August has arrived! Which means there's only less than a month for summer to be over, well technically it ends on September 20th but as Torontonians, we all know weather starts getting chilly by the end of August. Just talking about the weather change makes me depressed :(
Every Sunday, the Distillery has a farmer's market event that goes on, and just this past Sunday, I ventured down there for some good mother and daughter time. It was beautiful weather and I couldn't have asked for more!

P.s the pop-over comes in wasabi pea flavour!!! whatt???? They were sold out, so I had to get the blueberry pomegranate. I should've chosen the chocolate instead.

Happy Birthday Canada!!!
This year Canada landed on a Friday which means long weekend! :)
I went to Scarborough Bluffs park for a picnic and to my surprise I found a cliff that was prettyyy scary. It reminded me of the Grand Canyon in Las Vegas but obviously MUCH smaller in size and its in Toronto! Taking a few walks over, there was a swing that has been hung on the tree, (Thank you to whoever did it, its an amazing view from the swing) what a cute find! This is definitely a great place for those who want to hang out and enjoy a great view above the waters!
Hope everyone enjoyed their time off!

Embrace yourselves friends, British designer Gareth Pugh is coming out with a line with MAC cosmetics. Yepp...you read that right. Gareth Pugh's work has always been very dark and goth inspired, for 7 seasons now, Mac has been supporting him for his runway shows. Make up artist Alex Box has done a few season with Pugh's runway and the work is amazzinggg. Box has also done some collaborative work with RANKIN (one of my fave photographers) and the beauty shots are gorgeous.
The line comes out in November 2011 and I cannot wait!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this crossover <3
