WILLE STUDIO ApS is a Design Studio that creates spatial concepts and translates them into innovative projects ranging from temporary installations to mass-produced furnitures. WILLE STUDIO works partly alone and partly in cooperation with private companies and public institutions.

Owner, Lene Wille, is trained as an Interior Architect and Architectural Designer from
Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam, Holland.

Lene Wille is also co-founder of the creative alliance STORMSALEN ApS.

Workflow. When I design, the process is stretched between two poles that are very conflicting.
One pole is external and represents a sense of relationship/ interaction/ interplay between object and space, on an intuitive level.
The other pole is deeply anchored in my self and arises from my mathematical thinking. It represents the need for structure and holistic terms, which almost drives me to create grids, systems and methods.
Aiming to keep an open-minded approach throughout the entire design process, I relate equally to each of these 'poles' and to the conflict they create.
I believe that dealing with this conflict between the imaginative and the stringent, strengthens the originality in my work.
At the same time, it presents an artistic workflow that allows reflective aspects to be embedded in the final design.
