Leaving a Mark

Objective
Redesign Costco and a house brand, Kirkland, through creative branding solutions and innovative
package design. Create a private brand that can strengthen the Costco brand.

Solution
This project was not only about solving problems but also a collaborative relationship with other designers. It was very important for me to have a responsibility, share ideas, and help other students in a group. Researching and understanding the current Costco market were the essential beginnings of the whole process. Our group designed the new Costco brand image that could approach consumers emotionally. To create a coherent and compelling platform for invigorating the branding system, we developed a color branding system for each line.
