This is a project I created for my visual communication class, taught by Carolina Trigo. We were assigned to reinterpret Adolfo Bioy Casares' 1940 novel The Invention of Morel as our own narrative functioning alongside the original. I decided to create inserts with various pieces of information that came to my mind while reading the novel and glue them right into the original book. For the final project, we were to present the finished book as well as a poster and process book, showing the various steps that lead us to our final version. We were also to create a reimagining of the narrative in another medium, which you can also view on this site.
