Morgan Oliver is a lifelong crafter who produces one of a kind jewelry and other creative goods. While she has taken on many commissions that involve other styles, she is largely influenced by vintage jewelry. Both the style and eco-friendly aspect of re-using old materials to create new pieces speak to her.
From as early as she can remember, Morgan was constantly experimenting with different arts and crafts mediums. Her love of all things handmade led her to attend the art school Columbia College of Chicago. Her interest in jewelry making started there when she made herself a ring fashioned out of a Coke bottle cap that started to generate admirers as soon as she put it on, leading to many requests from college classmates for her to make these rings for themselves. When she spent a semester abroad at an art school in Florence, Italy she had her first jewelry making class.
She graduated the next year with a BA in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management, with a concentration in Visual Arts Management and Entrepreneurship. And with the years of numerous art classes behind her Morgan wanted to pursue the art of jewelry making.
During the day Morgan works as the Office Manager and Event Coordinator at Table Fifty-Two restaurant.
