Jonathan Aaron Murphy is an illustrator and musician currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. His artwork has been seen in publications on both U.S. shores and abroad. Such publications include Hope Mountain News, Empty Magazine, Think Faest / Faesthetic!, Paper Spaceship, and Semi Permanent. When he is not dripping ink through his fingertips, he’s versing the chords of the ancients with his band, Cave Days.

Who is Cave Days?

Cave Days is a band formed in Brooklyn NY. They consist of Jonathan Murphy on vocals and guitar, Richard Thomas on bass and Robert Corsetti on drums. However, Cave Days was originally incepted as a two-piece band with Erik Leubs on electronic percussion, synthesizers, background vocals and Jonathan on guitar, lyrics and main vocals. Together, Erik and Jon wrote, produced, recorded and released a 6 song EP.

Cave Days is currently in the studio recording a full length LP to be released in the Fall of 2012.
