Some words from the artist...
I am rooted in exploring all different mediums of creativity in my life. My interest in this art form is both recent and long-standing. For years, I have been working with still life art via architecture and other forms of creativity dependent on computers. I have always translated on paper the figures and subjects I see physically in front of me until recently. My yoga practice brought to life my desire to draw, organically and emotionally, figures and thoughts from within and what you see is the birth of a new creativity for me. Putting aside the computer, calculators, building codes and physical models while working on each of these metaphors gives me complete creative freedom; finally connected to self and soul and spirit.
Everyday, we filter what we want - or don't want - to share for fear of judgment. Over time, this filter mode cripples our self-awareness. Through the unearthing of this art form, I am getting to know myself, without any fear of judgment, with no expectation, except to be more my authentic self and 'focus on service'.
May you feel lifted with what each filter methaphor come to mean for You!

Little Tokyo Design Week is one of the anticipated event this July 13 thru 17 here in Los Angeles. The question inspired by this event, “What is Future City?” is making Los Angeles base architects, designers, artists and same like minds imagine in all different directions. I had the opportunity to answer this question in an interview thru the subject of self awareness. www.ltdesignweek.com
