The Nike 'Kinect Fitness' project was an exciting job for me. I successfully pitched and was awarded an independent contract to address the Post FX needs for a total of 9 separate short films set in the Nike 'Kinect Fitness' video game, as well as the motion graphic portion of the E3 Presentation delivered by NIKE VP of Digital Sport, Stefan Olander. While I directed the Post FX for this piece, the live action was captured by After All Films in Portland and directed by Sam Dock.

'Arthur Christmas' answers the question of how Santa Claus actually pulls off delivering gifts to all the children of the world in a single night. It turns out he's got a technologically advanced legion of 1.6 million elves and a sleigh ship the size of the Star Trek Enterprise. I played a major role in the design of the elves UI system and many other screen elements through out the film, including 3D interactive maps, gadgets, news media, military technologies and even a few letters to Santa. It was quite a job as there are more than 30,000 screens in the film and we designed nearly every scene with independent content to help cary the story.

This pitch for an SDF/1 identity update was meant to capture the meticulously intricate and massively collaborative nature of SDF/1 as a studio. These two frames show a part of a process that follows and idea, compounded by stylistic pieces, to form a gigantic structure that reveals to be the SDF/1 logo.

The fine folds in the fabric. The expression. Particle fidelity. I am especially stoked with the technical tricks i developed while working with this Qatar Foundation pitch. Total back pocket gold for me, I can’t wait for the opportunity to break this stuff out for real.

Another visual kiss on the cheek from the depths of Motion Theory. I stood ground as Compositing Supervisor on this one. An image built from fine pieces, married across a full gamut of creative spaces, 'Behind the Beauty' may be some of my strongest work.

Another seasons and another round of fun for Subway. I was able to spend a good couple of days building out the environment and look for this scene, including all of the 3d, design, and compositing work in this frame. My roll was design only, on a few vignettes throughout the piece, along with some other minor details.
