Gateway is a textile design collection produced for Peacocks, a British, fast-fashion, apparel company. When I was looking for some source of inspiration for this project, I thought about the peacock and what it represents. One idea it symbolizes is protection -- gates are also used as a form of protection and that is how this collection was formed. I distorted a chain-link fence and an antique key hole to transform these designs into textiles. This was constructed in Adobe© Illustrator.

Hermes is a French design company well-known for their distinctive patterns for scarves, and the infamous Birkin bag (courtesy of Sex & the City).

The notable equestrian patterns were the influence of The Third Man for Hermes. I wanted to created designs that were edgy, but sophisticated so they could be printed on anything from a scarf to a dress. This was created in Adobe© Photoshop.

This collection was created solely for Alpaca fabrics. Alpaca is a hollow core fiber so it keeps you warmer than wool when you need to be warm, but breathes when you need to be cool. Alpaca fiber can also be as fine as cashmere.

Unconventional is for the sophisticated, professional woman who wants a little flare for their everyday work-wear.

This dress was designed for my draping class. I really enjoyed this project because it was the first time we were "allowed" to create something besides the typical assignment of designing a dress.

I chose to make a plus size dress which the fabric is also on bias.Too many times, when I see plus size clothing, it looks plus size. With this dress, it was very important for me to make a garment that any size could wear and it would be flattering for all.
