Miscellaneous
Congratulations M & K
Matt and I were pretty disappointed that we couldn't make it to our friends' wedding while we were away, so we made this little pixel animation for them.
-
How Plants Grow
A short stop-motion horror animation I made with Matt Hammill in our living room over a couple afternoons. Pretty lo-fi setup... with some regular plasticine, dead plants, and rasberry jam. We used Frame Thief.
-
Uppercase Characters
Sculpey sculptures created in collaboration with Matt again for an exhibition at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. View full size.
-
Neighbours
An illustrated cardset of six different semi-detached house pairings in Toronto, handmade with a gocco-printed belly band. Click on photos to enlarge.
-
untitled zine (Birdhouse)
A small 8-page zine I wrote and illustrated after an ethereal summer weekend I spent at a friend's cottage. Xeroxed on grey bond paper and light pink Canson stock. Click on photos to enlarge.
-
Exercise Books
After finding a big pile of these old workbooks in chinatown, I was really brought back to my childhood and all the Saturday mornings spent in Chinese school (rather than in front of the tv watching cartoons..), so I decided to liven them up by silkscreening some doodles overtop. Click to enlarge.
