Download thesis During 2008–2011 I studied graphic design in Aalto university school of Art and Design. In my masters thesis I embarked on a journey into theories about the mechanisms underlying the act of reading and using a book. My goal was to illuminate the design process of non-fiction books by gathering a theoretical frame of reference and finding ways designers could implement the understanding theoretical knowledge provides into practice.
