A show made for MTV Overdrive, Afternoon Dlux takes the best moments from MTV’s afternoon program line up: Yo Mama, Room Raiders, Parental Control, Next, and Date My Mom. It’s a mad remix where a character from one show answers a question from another show—via quick cuts, smart editing, and a very good set of creative writers on staff. That’s a good mix to have.

For the show open, we tried to stay true to the show’s concept—only use the originals and remix it in an unexpected way. We fired up Adobe illustrator and decided that we’re only gonna use the default colors, patterns, and shapes native to the program. The result: a radioactive explosion of different characters and environments only a mother induced in acid could love. A true afternoon delight...dlux.
