In this series, the artist celebrates the simplicity of line drawings by rendering one of his favorite subjects: musicians.

"I had the great fortune of being raised in an environment where music was an important part of our heritage. Since many members on both sides of my family played instruments, a rich appreciation for music was instilled in me at a young age. Regardless of whether one is a professional musician or an amateur, music has a way of triggering memories that act as cues to our experiences, leaving no doubt that it has inextricably formed a personal soundtrack to our lives.

"Gruppo Sportivo" in Italian means " Sporty Group."

"Fever"

"Fever" is one of my favorite songs - Although a cross over pop signature number for Peggy Lee, it was an R&B hit recorded by Little Willie John in 1956. Nearly 100 versions of this song have been recorded by everyone from The Cramps to Diana Krall. For me this pop standard is as haunting today and it was the first time I heard it late one night on FM radio.
