Last year my desk slowly disappeared under a mountain of paper boats, planes and assorted cut out paper graphics… All for a good cause though, WWF were campaigning to get the UK government to tighten up on Carbon emissions in the Climate Change Bill going through parliament.

Why all the paper boats and planes? Well we were trying to highlight the fact that the fastest growing source of C02 emisions - international aviation and shipping - aren’t currently included in the proposed carbon budgets. We were going to highlight this point by sailing a huge paper boat down the Thames past the Houses of Parliment! Sadly the powers at be wouldn't let us do that, so we stuck it in the Serpertine instead ;)
