Born in Taiwan, raised in Florida, Chris is an incessantly inquisitive man. After receiving a business degree from the University of Florida he felt a creative calling still lingered from his days of doodling Ninja Turtles all over his middle school notebooks. Armed with little artistic ability, he enrolled into the Savannah College of Art & Design where he finally discovered the rewarding science of painting and illustration, both of which he continues to pursue today with great zeal.

His work has often been described as having a European sense of color and design, an Asian sense of economy and balance, and an American sense of wit and humor - a likely natural result of his multicultural upbringing and art education. His training began with traditional Western painting and though he eventually developed an affinity for illustration, he is still an avid student of art history and painting. On top of that Chris is quite fascinated in wildlife, marine biology, psychology, sports, outer space, and food.
