Water Liars, Phantom Limb
Album artwork, Photography

I had the pleasure of helping with the artwork for Water Liars' debut album, Phantom Limb. A duo with about as much raw and real talent as anyone can invision. WL somehow sheds a sincere and solemn sadness as a simple, sonorous sound; barenaked brokenness delivered with a force feeling so wistfully and wonderfully wounded. Water Liars released their second album, Wyoming, on Big Legal Mess/Fat Possum Records.

Laumeier Sculpture Park 25th Annual Art Fair
Identity, Event collateral and signage

I was selected to design the event identity for the 25th Annual Laumeier Art Fair, held every year on Mother's Day weekend at one of the world's only open-air museums, Laumeier Sculpture Park; a unique compliment to the cultural landscape of the St. Louis region, spanning 105-acres with over 300,000 visitors annually.

Wind Wind Etc. Etc.
Joplin, Missouri Tornado Relief Effort
2-color screenprint, printed by All Along Press

Along with 14 other Moosylvania designers, I created a limited edition poster as a contribution to the relief effort. Sales were donated in full to the United Way as our contribution to rebuilding the Joplin community after the devastating tornadoes. Inspired by a favorite essay by David Foster Wallace, Derivative Sport in Tornado Alley, and the mathematically gusty portrait of wind patterns from which Midwestern life is inevitably informed and deformed.
