BONN. No further details revealed to me, but I’ve been told
it’s a New Year’s Eve. Also, leave your duffle bags at home.

Die Formation Doppelherz 2000 degenerates at Summerspringbreak 2012.
I’ll gladly be a drop in their sweaty genepool. Who wouldn’t?

I think I’ll spend a day in June with you!«
(Gameface)
Let’s just do this. Bunch of new songs. Candy from strangers.

And yeah, you look good.

September 2011
Unlike Lot’s wife, I am not only looking back, I am actually going there. It hasn’t turned me into a pillar of salt yet, but it does give me some nervous hard-on, metaphorically.
On Saturday, September 24th, I’ll be in the small village of Bardenbach, in the small federal state called Saarland, and just a snappy spit away from what I called home eventually. Set in the surrounding of an art exhibition and asking no admission fee, I’ll be playing some acoustic Cashew songs, later on being joined by Cologne’s most under-abbreviated, ABC Georgia, for another bunch of unplugged song lore.
Five days later, September 29th and a workforce-friendly Thursday, we’ll switch on amps and play the Tsumani in Cologne, along with the fabulous Lo-Fi Fair. Also, there is just some more heavy duty guitar leasing for Die Formation Doppelherz 2000. Rad!
In short, the basic essentials are as such:
Cashew + ABC Georgia

Die Formation Doppelherz 2000
October 21, 2011 – @ Pegel, Cologne –
November 5, 2011 – @ Kunstwerk, Cologne –
Plus, for boldly making it here, please enjoy the newest Cashew song, »Waidwund«. Yeah right, Sherlock, this one features German lyrics. Get it here.

Cashew, a desolate sportive entity and prissy bearer of stitches and sore muscles, is proud of having contributed a song to the next quantum leap in sports: the new TIBHAR commercial. I’m talking table tennis here, quite possibly the only sport that harbors any dignity. At least if you watch it from your favorite spot on the couch. You can fetch that song, »King Out«, as a full download.
In other news: While »Disturbulence« is being sent out, I hit the ready room to perform these songs on acoustic guitar, and with a cello player. It was nice and fragile and beautiful and all, I guess. It’s just that the hardcore band next door was a tad louder.
But hey, having Cashew in your living room, wouldn’t that be the greatest thing since bread came sliced? Think about it. I should mention that we’re housebroken and cute as orphaned kittens.

I’ve been thinking, which is a clever thing to do,
unless sometimes, it’s not.
It is backwards with music. That is the punchline of a witty and graceful introduction to the artist that I never wrote, because I was too tired. It would have been a charming tale.
The attributes you would have been led to tag with the artist are as follows: elaborate, insightful, enchantingly complicated. There would have been a subplot charged with sensual white noise. There would have been delicate moments of introverted frailty and churning instants of raging tigerishness. It would have been grand. Maybe tomorrow.
