Born and raised in British Columbia, Canada, Carolyn Fisk emerged as an animator, illustrator, and digital artist. She has earned a reputation for meticulous attention to detail and dedication to her projects. Influenced by a father who is a professional painter, she took an interest in art at a young age. Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources such as Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, history, film, Japanese manga and anime, and video games; her work combines traditional media with computer applications.

Carolyn graduated with a Bachelor in Media Arts at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2011. During her years at university she developed an interest in both 2D and 3D animation and still enjoys incorporating the two into projects. To accomplish this she used the following programs: Adobe Photoshop CS3/CS5, Adobe After Effects CS5, Adobe Premiere CS5, and Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2011.
