Cotton Tale
/ (1 of 1)

Cotton Tale is an investigation of the rabbit. Everything in this exhibition is purchased. The "real" rabbit was purchased on biologyproducts.com and cost 35 dollars. Its counterpart being the stuffed bunnies were collected in thrift stores located in San Antonio and Lubbock, their prices ranging anywhere from 15 cents to 8 dollars. The items in this exhibition could be considered as my personal rabbit roundup. A curatorial archive dissecting the surface level of what the rabbit has become in consumer society and our visceral reactions to simple disfigurements and awkward arrangements.
