Cardboard Robot Creative Services is my catch all business for all the creative work I do and facilitate, pretty much all forms of digital art both commercial (design/finished art/ art direction) and fine art. I also teach design at the college of fine arts in sydney australia and have worked in art departments for television and film and performed and recorded as both a solo musician and as part of a group at many major music and art festivals. Bio

My professional experience is very wide ranging from work in large daily newspapers to running an independent record label. I have worked in many different creative areas mainly based around graphic arts namely finished art, design and art direction. I am currently employed as an art director, run a small creative business that also provides artists with manufacturing facilities (cd/dvd - print - tshirt etc) and visual art teacher at the college of fine arts UNSW sydney

:I ran a weekly club nights for new and outsider music (la campana - club consolador de dos caras december 2007 - december 2008) ,mastered audio for many compilations (unbelieveably bad magazine 1 - 5 , purple duck duckside of the moon and many more), interviewed like minded arts facilitators (mountain fold music vol1.issue3 release the bats interview) and worked in art departments for film and television (guerrilla gardeners, the falls, the biggest loser)
and in publicity departments for tv (channel 7
- finished art).
Have freelanced as a graphic artist for everything from advertising to electronic media to magazines to POS advertising and new media.
My main goals are to creatively push boundaries and make whatever project I work on something beautiful and unique and to constantly evolve my skillset / creative envirnment .

1994– present Various freelance for large companies such as channel 7 television (high end finished art and some design) , toyota (design, finished art concept digital for AD+INC) , netball australia and rugby world cup (for witekite creative), true alliance , enmore school of design , 30thirty, ddb, to small one off projects for musicians artists, independent publishers and many other smaller clients . Teach indesign/photoshop/illustrator at UNSW college of fine arts (COFA) and the Whitehouse School of Design. Art director at horowitz publications. Creative director/owner cardboard robot creative also co owner deux visage.
2003 – 2010 Art direction, Design, finished art and everything else for Dual Plover – company director overseeing all web design and maintenance , design and brand, pre press , IT , customer relations both international and domestic , production as well as accounts and dealing with suppliers and clients from concept to print and publish for clients around the globe.
1998 – 2003 Finished artist, Pacific Publications – including New Idea, That’s Life!, Girlfriend, Your Garden and others; re touching , finished art for both weekly and monthly magazines
1997 – 1998 Senior retouch and finished artist for
Hannan Print – scanner operations and colour
correction etc ; publications included city weekly ,
Sydney weekly , inner west courier , wentworth courier
1996 – 1997 Finished artist, Text Media – re touch and finished artist.
1991 – 1996 Finished artist for News Limited – retouch and scan images for all News Limited newspaper titles; Also tested and researched new technology for
transition to colour printing and software test (in house preview and file software and photoshop 2!).
4 year apprenticeship as graphic repro tradesman which is now classified as finished art.

1995 Qualified tradesman - Graphic Reproduction at UTS (this was a finished art qualification and completed as an apprenticeship at News ltd)
