Ryan produced Taylor's first album, Whiplash Ballroom, in 2007 on a shoestring budget and a Roland VS-880EX (for all you old school hard disk recorder folks).  It was a great experience and a great album, so when Taylor came calling to start work on his second album, Brothercousin jumped at the opportunity.  Having Keith on board completed the triumvirate, and The V Album was born. We did basic tracks at a ranch outside of Hico, TX, over a glorious weekend in March 2010.  Lots of Lone Star and bacon.  Overdubs, guitar solos, arrangement tweaks, etc., were then done back in Austin at Suite 2E throughout the rest of 2010 and into 2011.  The V Album was digitally released to worldwide acclaim on October 22, 2011.
