After phase one of the Pennington Wild Bird Seed campaign was under way, we needed to establish Pennington as the leader in the wild bird seed market. Since the competition was being very scientific, we continued to approach Pennington Seed as way to attract nature's original entertainer's, and we created The Wild Bird Band. We developed four bird characters - Chickadee, Chaz, Finch and Lester - to illustrate how to bring great entertainment to your yard. We enlisted the help of the brilliant folks at Milford Animation to bring our characters to life. Using TV and radio in addition to Facebook and out of home, we were able to create a broad reach that resulted in a 200% increase of Pennington's sales in it's test markets.
