I started out in this crazy, wonderful industry as a freelance photographer, shooting bands for record labels, and minor league baseball players. During that time I owned an antiques business, specializing in early American paintings, Art Deco, and Mission furniture, which helped develop my negotiating and treasure-hunting skills.

My neighbor--a Creative at BBDO, recruited me to take over their Art Buying dept. I learned to love 5AM call times, and 16 hour days, through eight years of producing award-winning ads for Carmichael Lynch (thank you, Harley-Davidson). My next call of duty was at Butler Shine Stern & Partners as Sr Art Producer. Freelance forays since then, include Goodby Silverstein, Venables Bell, Eleven, Solve, Apple, Draft, Cutwater, Olson+ Co, Y&R, and Pereira & O'Dell. When I'm not careening towards a deadline, in a status meeting, creating excel image spreadsheets, or bounding up the stairs at an agency you'll find me producing for my talented photographer husband:

I love sourcing the right artist, or images, producing ads (still/interactive/video) and connecting with the photographic and artistic community. I participate on panels/blogs for APA, ASMP, Agency Access, Palm Springs Photo Fest, Found Folios, and I consult for commercial photographers.
