Blackdecember - pseudonym for Jeroen Peter - graduated in 2002 from the Dutch creative college for media, design & technology in Utrecht, after which he started his own studio. From that period onwards he starts developing a personal style, that expresses in multiple ways. His digital art work is a combination of image manipulation and digital painting used in a classic Renaissance style. His Live fine art on the other hand is playful and has a Japanese touch to it. This reflects in large-scale cartoon like figures with big eyes and a variety of quirky characters with usually female shapes. Very interesting are the combinations of these works together that create fine art in a digital form, with different styles blending together eccentrically.
