My name is Nuno de Melo e Sousa, I live since the first day of the year of nineteen eighty eight, one before the Berlin wall was taken down, the same one as Pixies´s Surfer Rosa.
For the last six years I studied architecture in the Oporto´s School of Architecture, went to TUDELFT on Erasmus, worked and drank Chai tea with Balkrishna Doshi while attending to his International Studio in Ahmedabad, and spent and learned a lot with Luís Tavares Pereira and Guiomar Rosa at [A] ainda arquitectura. I still do.
In the meanwhile, I took all the chances I had to attend to rock´n´roll concerts, shoot everything that slapped my eye with an old Yashica, draw a big amount of things that were or were not moving, destroyed a lot of models to rebuild them again, did as many miles as I could, from India till Brazil, The Netherlands or Nepal, lost a lot of competitions, lost a lot of sprints and marathons, twisted my ankles and busted my knees, but still, I fell like I took every breath with the lungs wide open.
