Ben Konstantin is a New York based art director, writer, stand up comedian and voice talent. He has worked for two highly regarded advertising agencies: Doner and Young & Rubicam before working as an independent the past few years. Ben started as an art director, but has always been an outstanding copywriter, as well. He has worked on a range of accounts from Mazda and Lincoln Mercury to the Detroit Tigers and Salvation Army. His responsibilities have included writing, designing and producing concepts for TV, print, radio, POS, direct mail and interactive design. He has also supervised huge still and commercial shoots and the design of major interactive projects. Campaigns he has worked on have won Caddy, Mobius and Dandy awards.
Konstantin's comedy career includes performing in the DC and Boston Comedy Festivals as well as being selected to the “Best of Fest” in the two first ever Detroit International Comedy Festivals. He is the winner of the contest: “Robert Klein and six guys from Detroit”, and the Detroit/DC Comedy Festival contest. His material has been heard on XM Radio and WDFN, Sports Radio (The fan). Ben has also performed with Lewis Black, Demetri Martin, Robert Klein, Mike Birbiglia and Carrot Top. His comedy career was featured as the cover story in the Metro Detroit Jewish News, 12/2009.
As a voice over talent, he was recently booked and recorded his first national commercial.
