Brief:
Typeset and create suitable information graphics for a difficult, jargon saturated Guardian article on population growth.

Challenge:
• Use visual information to make the article easier to understand,
• Create a strong, single diagram based on various facts and speculations,
• Make sure the copy is neat and comfortable to read.

Outcome:
• Illustrative and emotional diagram comparing the qualities of life in poor and rich nations,
• Isotype inspired visual style, interesting to look at and easy to comprehend by an ordinary reader,
• Ascent-like composition and strong color balance chosen to represent the rising seriousness of the issue.
