Statement
My work is reflective of the multiple complexities within networks; vast and spacious or highly compact and integrated. The exploration and explanation through intellectually nostalgic objects and technologies utilizes a highly visual marketability that deepens the connection between object and viewer.

Spatially my works are not limited by two or three-dimensional engagement. Often the illusion of space is present rather than the physical. In my series of works titled “5th Dimension” the illusion both visually and environmentally becomes overt and coaxes the viewer into the piece by promising stimuli.

My piece “Voyager” appropriates government issued audio from the exploratory spacecraft Voyager I. By using the confines of the gallery the piece aims to minimize the distances that seem incomprehensible.

My choice of material is reflective of the absurdities and challenges within the networks I navigate. Aesthetically, I often work with materials that are nostalgic in nature to challenge preconceptions. By juxtaposing the seriousness of the subject matter with playful materials I accomplish compositions that are aesthetically and intellectually stimulating.
