Sony Handycam and Yahoo! developed an amazing site that combines Professional & UGC video content. Maps and Yahoo! Answers API’s were used to create a unique travel guide highlighting all of Europe’s most exciting and exclusive summer holiday destinations. Users uploaded their most special holiday moments to win the star prize, a “Red Carpet” trip for themselves and three friends on a luxury yacht in the South Pacific. The site was launched simultaneously in in five European languages resulting in 600,000 UU’s 600 user submissions. Visit Destination Handycam
