Architect / Theorist / Researcher



Sasha Cisar is an architect and theorist based in Zürich. Sasha studied at the ETH Zürich, Tokyo University of the Arts and University of Liechtenstein. In New York City he worked with Peter Eisenman and in Zürich he worked at BGP Architekten. Sasha served for six years as the editor of Trans, the architectural journal published at the gta institute, ETH Zürich. Currently he researches and teaches at the ETH at SuAT - Sustainable Architecture and Building Technologies, chair of Arno Schlüter, on sustainability and spatialization of energy, economics and crisis in architecture and urbanism. Sasha curated the exhibition Learning From Tokyo on density, housing and architecture and founded Theorist a platform for critical discourse in architecture.
