Tommy Hilfiger wanted to partner with both its fans, and Facebook, to create a limited edition collection of t-shirts.
The collection was to be customised with the users' own statuses, likes and relationships, and be available to be purchased via the Tommy Hilfiger Facebook page.
The official collection was to feature a range of pre-designed t-shirts to be sold online and in store.
These t-shirts are designed under the Hilfiger Denim brand and bring together Facebook language, with Tommy Hilfiger colours and a college style.
An online only custom collection would be available via the Facebook application.
These designs are created by the user filling in their own updates, events or statuses, so that the user can create completely unique designs for themselves or their friends.

Each t-shirt is to feature a custom set of washing instructions inside the neck.
The instructions are written in a tongue-in-cheek way, using Facebook language to let the customers know how to look after their new shirt.
