Night Beacon is a mobile application designed to empower people to walk with confidence at night.

The system is innovative in its approach to using technology to enhance trust and safety in the real world.

Night Beacon won the 2010 CHI Student Design Competition.

The system was developed using user-centered design methodology.

Role
This was a highly collaborative project. I participated in ideation, contextual inquiry interviews, literature reviews, field research, sketches, mapping and content creation.
