Cupid from Andrew Perry on Vimeo.

Cupid can get lonely too.

I was director of photography on this, and it was again working with the wonderful Alia Ghafar.
We had just a day and half in which to get this done, so we worked really quickly. Almost every scene was nailed in one take and we spent a lot of time running around Glasgow with a tripod in one hand and the script in the other.

I chose a DSLR based on budget and mainly shot using the Olympus 24mm and Canon 50mm lenses. No audio was recorded.

Word Up

A short film about two girls and their intense game of Scrabble.

Word Up was written around October and November 2012 by Alia Ghafar. She came to me with this idea and we took it forward into production in late November. It was filmed over 3 days in Grace's house.
