Ampersanderson is the collected works of Matthew Anderson, an Art Director & Graphic Designer based in New York City. Focusing on the interactive and branding realms, Matthew is continuously seeking the intersection of typography, media and social justice.
OVERVIEWI believe that graphic design has the distinguished ability to engage, inform and uplift viewers and users. It can—and should—effect positive change in our world. With that understanding, I produce identities and websites that are relevant to those who view and interact with them. HISTORYI was born and raised in the moist and mountainous northwest corner of the United States. With a BFA in Graphic Design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, I currently reside in Brooklyn, New York. During my time in New York I have worked at the design studio Hyperakt, the branding agency DiMassimo Goldstein and the trail blazing beauty brand DailyMakeover.com.
