Based on the typeface Didot, Ethos was inspired by a semester I spent studying in Athens and classical Greek architecture. The thick stems of the letterforms are lined to resemble column striations and the serifs are modeled after the caps of Doric columns. The typeface is designed for the Greek alphabet.
