Currently living and working in Kyoto, Japan.
My interests lie in taking or appropriating and modifying existing media to create, be it statistical data transferred to composition or obsolete audio equipment brought back as mutant music making machines. I like to learn as I work with a media or material as this helps me to enjoy the process of making. Sometimes I feel guilty cutting up or scratching recorded audio or equipment but I am making it mine and if I didn’t it would remain silent. I like to play.
Since moving to Japan in 2009 I have had the opportunity to work and collaborate in my studio in central Kyoto.
