Scrib magazine is about contemporary poetry, with the goal of proliferating the medium among the younger demographic. In order for the publication to be driven by its content, the masthead and covers needed to be graphically bold without cluttering the page. Therefore the masthead was design to be structurally dominant at the top of the page with little embellishment.
