The goal for this project was to create a cohesive identity for the Melbourne Stencil festival throughout the duration of the festival. A significant challenge was that the materials needed to be in two languages, English and Greek, since Australia has a significant Greek diaspora. To show underlying nuisances and dynamic nature of stenciling, the dominant image of the festival was created by superimpose various stencils and the colours are subdued tones that differ from the conceived notion of bright graffiti.
