Student Kalendern
An online calendar dedicated to enrich and make life easier for students around Sweden.

My role was Art direction, Concept development and Interaction Design.
The concept was named "The web 2.0 symbiosis". The calendar is about taking the best bits of Service Orientated Advertising and creating a nicer looking advertising format that benefits both the consumer as well as the advertiser. In short terms, dismantling the old bannerformat and instead do it in a more unobtrusive way to not force anything on anybody.
To follow the quirks and values of the target group we
sieved out four main headers of value and developed each with the nescessary research.
1. ACCESSIBILITY
2. ADDED VALUE
3. SUITING AND SMART
4. FREE
The client was Studentmagasinet. They arrange events for clients who include students in their target group and the calendar is also intended as a tool for both data mining and spreading the word in conjunction with these PR events.
The interface consists of advanced filtering options, i.e; time intervals as well as the possibility to create and share your own events.
