Adam studied at Westminster University Film School, graduating in 2003 with 1st Class Hons. He spent the next two years working in the film industry at various production companies, including the UK Film Council, Warp Films and was then picked out of over 2000 applicants for the first one-year internship at Working Title Films in 2004. After completing the year he continued freelance script reading and development work for numerous production companies until 2007 when he decided to concentrate full time on directing.
