Through first hand accounts of personal stories delivered directly to camera, as if to a friend, we demystify some of the signifiers people offer to reveal who they are. On the surface This is Me appears to be a dynamic look at multiculturalism, benefiting people who may feel alienated and confused by the mix around them. But underneath it aims to encourage integration, break down barriers and build bridges across communities by drawing parallels to some of the quirky habits different cultures establish that have become rituals or customs that define us all.
