Artist's Biography
Writing. Painting. Music. As my old man has always said;
"Jeb will do just about anything to keep from working."
I've been involved in a wide range of creative endeavors throughout my career. As a professional writer, I've written novels, short fiction, ad copy, brochures, radio and television spots, video scripts, film treatments, interactive scripts and articles. In addition to writing prose, I've written dozens of pop songs that have received airplay on college and alternative radio stations around the world, (and now Pandora Internet Radio), and have performed in sleazy bars and concert halls alike. I also paint landscapes in oil and and have sold over 30 original pieces over the past several years.
Professional Creative Experience
Co-Founder/Creative Director, Inter Active Media Inc., Corte Madera, CA. Designed, wrote and/or produced over 100 integrated interactive marketing, sales, training and consumer edutainment programs (SportWare Golf™, a multimedia edutainment title published by HarperCollins Interactive, November 1995).
Creative Director, The SoftAd Group, Sausalito, CA. Designed over 25 interactive programs for clients such as Ford, Buick, BMW, IBM, Coke, Unisys, DEC, Pacific Bell, SAS and more. Responsible for all creative concepts, flow charts, outlines, scripts, story boards and technical specifications.
Scriptwriter/Producer, freelance, corporate films, specialization in comedy. Clients included ComputerLand, The Gap, Shaklee, Ashton-Tate, Compaq, Novell etc.
Creative Director, Writer/Producer, Sherman & Associates Advertising, San Jose, CA. 1985-86. Focus on local TV writing and production.
Writer/Producer, Austin Associates Advertising, Phoenix, AZ, 1983-85. TV, Radio, Print creative and production.
Songwriter/Musician, 4 CDs (including college radio hit, "Rodeo Girls" 1989), live performances at big venues like The Fillmore, SF. Latest release: Treble Makers
