ICOGRADA EXCUSES POSTER

Poster design for ICOGRADA Seattle. The year's conference theme was "Cross Cultural Design." Struggling personally to find the inspiration to design that particular semester, I spoke of the excuses that I and many designers struggle with, the issues and non-issues that block accomplishment. Using a map as a base layer — a form many of the international attendees were overly familiar with at that time — and visually traversed the path of the creative process to fruition. The poster, double sided, could be used also as a large paper airplane, symbolic of "getting over."
